    Start at The Square in Palmerston North, a central and well-known area. From The Square, head north on Church Street until you reach the intersection with Victoria Avenue. Turn left onto Victoria Avenue and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You'll pass through the city center and see various shops and cafes. Once you reach the intersection with Albert Street, turn right and follow Albert Street until it merges into Vaucluse Heights. Continue following Vaucluse Heights uphill for about 1 kilometer. The entrance to Te Arapiki a Tane will be on your right at 36 Vaucluse Heights.

    From The Square, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Main Street. Take bus number 23, which is headed towards Fitzherbert. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the stop on Vaucluse Heights. Walk about 200 meters uphill on Vaucluse Heights, and you will find Te Arapiki a Tane at 36 Vaucluse Heights.
