Walking
Start your journey at the Palmerston North City Library located at 4-6 George Street. Exit the library and head north on George Street towards The Square. Once you reach The Square, turn left onto Main Street. Walk along Main Street until you reach the intersection with Fitzherbert Avenue. Turn right onto Fitzherbert Avenue and continue walking. After about 1.5 km, you will reach the intersection with Cliff Road. Turn left onto Cliff Road. Te Motu o Poutoa is located a short distance down Cliff Road on your right, just past the entrance to Anzac Park.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the Palmerston North Intercity Bus Terminal located at 75 Main Street, catch the bus route that heads towards Fitzherbert. Look for the 'Fitzherbert' bus which will take you along Fitzherbert Avenue. Disembark at the stop closest to the intersection of Fitzherbert Avenue and Cliff Road. From there, walk down Cliff Road for about 500 meters, and you will find Te Motu o Poutoa on your right, near the entrance to Anzac Park.

If you prefer to bike, start from the Palmerston North City Centre. Head towards The Square and take the designated bike path along Main Street. Continue to Fitzherbert Avenue and follow the bike lane. Turn left onto Cliff Road and continue biking until you reach Te Motu o Poutoa on your right, just past Anzac Park. The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on your speed.
