Walking
Start at the Queenstown Main Town Centre located at Shotover Street. Head towards the waterfront and follow the path along Lake Wakatipu. Continue walking along the waterfront until you reach the end of the lakefront where you will see the Queenstown Gardens on your left. Proceed past the gardens and look for the entrance to the Queenstown Hill Walking Track, which is marked with signs. The track begins at the end of Belfast Street. From there, follow the well-marked trail upwards towards Queenstown Hill Summit. The hike will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on your pace. Enjoy the stunning views as you ascend.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the Queenstown Main Town Centre, walk to the nearest bus stop at Camp Street. Catch the bus number 1 towards Fernhill. Inform the driver you want to get off at the Queenstown Hill stop (approximately a 5-minute ride). After disembarking, follow the signs leading to the Queenstown Hill Walking Track. The trailhead is a short walk from the bus stop. The hike to Queenstown Hill Summit takes about 1 to 1.5 hours.
