From the Queenstown town center, head east on Shotover Street towards Camp Street. Continue straight as Shotover Street turns into Gorge Road. After about 1 km, you will reach the intersection with Lower Shotover Road. Turn right onto Lower Shotover Road. Follow this road for approximately 2 km. You will see a sign for the Twin Rivers Trail on your left. Take this turn, and follow the trail signs which will lead you to the Twin Rivers Trail Intersection.

Start at the Queenstown bus terminal located on Camp Street. Take the bus towards Arrowtown, which runs regularly. Get off at the Lower Shotover stop.
