Queenstown Electric Bike and Wine Tour

What a day!

We had the best day on our Winehopper tour! What a great way to experience the beautiful NZ countryside and some of its best wines. Some were a bit nervous about the e-bikes and finding our way but the team made it super easy and once we were on our way it was easy to navigate. Highly recommended the private tour with the Winehopper bus as it gave a little more flexibility in going between venues. Our driver Maria was so great, super flexible, came in to make sure we were all ok and helped capture some of our memories with taking photos. Thanks Maria for making our day so special! We loved Kinross for lunch - the food was sensational! Ayrburn was also so good that we went again a few days later just to experience the whole space. We didn’t have Gibbston Valley on the list but because that’s where we dropped our bikes we managed to get some time there at the start and it was a great way to kick off the winery tours. The tour was definitely the highlight of our trip! Highly recommended!

Outstanding and amazing! A very well groomed trail. The clip on sections were one-way only so they weren't as intimidating as I had anticipated. Breathtaking views. The e-bike made it doable for me; I am not a regular cyclist. Great people! A truly great experience.

Guided eBike Wine Tour Ride to the Vines

Exceptional EMTB wine tour, Ksena our guide was five stars

Ride to the Sky’s EMTB guided wine tour was simply amazing. Ksena was our guide, owner operator. She made sure everyone was safe, first and foremost. All riders had a well maintained EMTB, gloves, and helmet… and a personal radio. We thought this may have been overkill,, until we realized during the ride Ksena provided expert guidance regarding rocks in the road, when to down shift, when to turbo, if there were walkers ahead, directions on how to approach a hanging bridge safely and correctly. She guided the more adventurous souls of our group on some short single track parts, my husband enjoyed the challenge. In addition to her MTB guidance, she is also an expert on wines, having worked at a vineyard. I have a very specific and unusual taste in wines, and she nailed it! What a wonderful day. Completely exceeded expectations. Recommend Ride to the Sky next time you are in Queensland. It will be the highlight of your trip. FIVE STARS
