    If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Invercargill, the main city in Southland. Head north on State Highway 1 towards Gore for approximately 60 km. At Gore, take the exit onto State Highway 94 towards Te Anau. Continue along SH94 for about 90 km until you reach Te Anau. Once in Te Anau, follow signs for the Kepler Track, which will lead you to the Kepler Track car park, located at the end of Te Anau - Manapouri Road. The car park is the starting point for the hike to Luxmore Cave. Note that there is no cost for parking at this location, but make sure you are aware of the local regulations regarding parking.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, take a bus from Invercargill to Te Anau. The bus journey typically takes around 2 hours.
