If you're driving from Invercargill, take State Highway 1 heading north towards Kingston. After approximately 50 km, take the exit toward Kingston and follow the signs to Kingston township. Once in Kingston, head towards the Kingston-Queenstown Road (State Highway 6) and turn left. Continue on this road for about 12 km until you reach the Eyre Mountains and the Beech Hut trailhead. Park your vehicle at the designated parking area. Note that the road may be gravel in some sections, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended in wet conditions.
