If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Takaka. Head west on State Highway 60 for about 15 km until you reach the junction with Wainui Bay Road. Turn right onto Wainui Bay Road and continue for approximately 10 km. At the end of Wainui Bay Road, turn left onto Wainui Falls Road. Follow this road for about 1 km, and you will find the car park for Wainui Falls on your right. Parking is free.
