Start at Tauranga's main bus terminal located at 1 Willow St, Tauranga. Take the Baybus Route 2 towards Omanu and get off at the Omanawa Road stop. From here, walk along Omanawa Road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Omanawa Falls on your right.

If you're already in the city center of Tauranga, head to the waterfront and walk east towards the Tauranga Art Gallery. From there, follow the path leading to the Tauranga Domain. Continue following the signs towards the railway tracks. Cross the tracks at the pedestrian crossing, then walk along the path until you reach Omanawa Road. Turn left onto Omanawa Road and walk for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Omanawa Falls.
