Bus
From Tauranga city center, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Bayhopper bus service on Route 1 towards Papamoa. You will need to ride the bus until you reach the stop at Te Puke Highway, near the intersection with Omanawa Falls Road. This journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you disembark, walk along Omanawa Falls Road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Omanawa Falls Track Car Park, which is located on the right side of the road.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Tauranga. Start from the city center and head east towards Te Puke Highway. Follow Te Puke Highway out of the city until you reach Omanawa Falls Road. Turn right onto Omanawa Falls Road and continue cycling for about 3 kilometers. The Omanawa Falls Track Car Park will be on your left. Ensure you wear a helmet and obey road rules, as some sections may have traffic.

For those who enjoy walking, you can start from the city center of Tauranga and head towards the Bayfair Shopping Center. From there, walk along the footpath on Te Puke Highway heading towards Omanawa. It will take approximately 2 hours to reach the Omanawa Falls Track Car Park on foot, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
