Getting There

Bus
Start at the Tauranga Bus Station located at 2 Willow Street, Tauranga. Take the Baybus Route 1 (Blue Line) towards Mount Maunganui. Get off at the stop at 15th Avenue and Cameron Road. From there, transfer to Route 28 towards Omanawa. It will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Omanawa stop. From the bus stop, follow Omanawa Road for about 2 km until you reach the entrance to the Omanawa Falls track. The entrance is marked, and there is a small parking area.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the Tauranga city center and head towards the waterfront along the Strand. Once you reach the end of the Strand, turn left onto Cameron Road. Walk along Cameron Road until you reach the bus stop at 15th Avenue. From there, you can take the Baybus Route 28 as described above. Note that walking the entire distance to Omanawa Falls from the city center is quite long (approximately 16 km) and may take several hours.
