If you are starting from the Timaru city centre, head south towards Stafford Street. Walk along Stafford Street until you reach the intersection with The Terrace. Turn left onto The Terrace and continue walking until you reach the next intersection with Rose Street. Turn right onto Rose Street, and Anzac Square will be on your left side just a short walk down the road.

If you are at the Timaru Railway Station, exit the station and head south on the main road, which is also known as Strathallan Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with The Terrace. Turn right onto The Terrace and walk until you reach Rose Street. Turn left onto Rose Street, and you will find Anzac Square on your left shortly after.

From the Timaru Botanic Gardens, exit the gardens and head north on the main road, which is known as Arthur Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with The Terrace. Turn left onto The Terrace and proceed until you reach Rose Street. Turn right onto Rose Street, and Anzac Square will be on your left side after a short distance.
