Walking
Start at the Timaru Post Office located in the city center at 12 Theodosia Street. Head south on Theodosia Street towards the intersection with Stafford Street. Once you reach Stafford Street, turn left and walk for about 500 meters until you reach the junction with South Street. Continue straight onto South Street. Walk for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Patiti Point, which will be on your right. Look for the signs indicating the nature preserve and park area.

From the Timaru Bus Station located at 1 Arthur Street, take the bus route heading towards Kensington. Ask the driver to let you off at the 'South Street' stop. From there, walk south along South Street for about 1 kilometer. Patiti Point will be located on your left-hand side, marked by signs for the nature preserve.
