Car
If you're driving from Mount Cook National Park, head south on State Highway 80 towards Twizel. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with State Highway 8. Turn left onto State Highway 8 and follow the signs towards Lake Tekapo. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will reach Lake Tekapo. Once in Lake Tekapo, turn onto D Archiac Drive. The Lake Tekapo Farm Tours is located at 48A D Archiac Drive, which is a short drive from the main road.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Mount Cook Village to Twizel. Companies like InterCity operate routes in this region. Once you arrive in Twizel, you can catch a local bus or taxi to Lake Tekapo. The bus journey from Mount Cook to Twizel takes about 45 minutes, and from Twizel to Lake Tekapo, it will take around 30 minutes. It’s important to check the bus schedules in advance to ensure you have a connection to Lake Tekapo.
