From the Whanganui River, head southwest towards Victoria Avenue. Walk along Victoria Avenue until you reach the intersection with Dublin Street. Turn left onto Dublin Street and continue straight. You will cross the bridge over the Whanganui River, enjoying scenic views. After crossing the bridge, take the first right onto Somme Parade. Continue along Somme Parade, which will lead you toward the coast. Keep walking until you reach the South Beach area, where the beach will be on your right.
