If you are starting from the Whanganui City Centre, head west on Victoria Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Guyton Street. Turn left onto Guyton Street and proceed until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Great North Road (State Highway 3). Follow Great North Road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the Castlecliff area. Look for Matai Street on your right. Turn onto Matai Street, and you will find Matai Street Reserve located at 107 Matai Street.

From Whanganui City Centre, you can catch a bus to Castlecliff. Look for the bus service that goes towards Castlecliff and board the bus at the nearest bus stop. The ride should take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the nearest stop to Matai Street, which is likely to be near the intersection with Great North Road. Once you disembark, walk along Great North Road in the direction of Matai Street. Turn onto Matai Street, and you will reach Matai Street Reserve at 107 Matai Street.
