Bus
From Jinotega, head to the main bus terminal, located near the central park. Look for a bus heading to Matagalpa. Buses run frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait long. The journey takes about 30-45 minutes. Inform the driver or conductor that you want to get off at the Selva Negra Ecolodge stop, which is approximately Km 140 on the Matagalpa-Jinotega highway.

Taxi
Once you arrive at Matagalpa, you can take a taxi from the bus terminal. Make sure to negotiate the fare or ask for a meter. Instruct the driver to take you to Selva Negra Ecolodge, located at Km 140 on Carretera Mat-Jin. The taxi ride will take about 15-20 minutes.

Walking
If you prefer to walk from the bus stop where the Matagalpa bus drops you off, head north on Carretera Mat-Jin. Walk along the road for about 4 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Selva Negra Ecolodge. Be cautious of traffic, as this is a main road.
