If you're driving from Matagalpa town center, head southeast on Calle 4 Sur towards the main road (Carretera Panamericana). Continue on this road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the main highway. Turn left onto the highway and follow the signs for Casa de la Novia. After approximately 1 kilometer, look for a small sign indicating 'Mulukakao' and turn right onto a dirt road. You will find Mulukakao about 500 meters down this road on your right. Be prepared for some bumpy terrain, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

To reach Mulukakao via public transportation, first, take a local bus from Matagalpa to the nearby town of San Ramon. Buses depart from the main bus terminal in Matagalpa frequently, and the fare is about 20 Cordobas (roughly $0.60 USD). Once you arrive in San Ramon, you will need to take a taxi to Mulukakao. The taxi fare should be around 100 Cordobas (about $3 USD) and takes about 15 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to go to 'Casa de la novia, 25 varas al este' as some may not be familiar with Mulukakao directly.
