From the center of San Juan del Sur, head east towards the beach. Walk along the beach promenade until you reach the main road (Avenida del Mercado). Follow this road to the intersection with Calle La Libertad. Turn left onto Calle La Libertad and continue straight. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will see Surf Ranch Hotel & Resort on your right side. The hotel is located just before the entrance to Playa Maderas.

Find a taxi nearby, which you can identify by their distinctive yellow color. Tell the driver you want to go to Surf Ranch Hotel & Resort. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before you get in, as taxi drivers may not always use a meter. The hotel is located on the way to Playa Maderas, just off the main road.
