From Owu Forest Reserve, start your journey by heading southeast towards the Akinyemi road. Continue straight for about 15 kilometers until you reach the town of Oniparaga. Look for directional signs to Uwa Forest Reserve as you approach the outskirts of the town. Uwa Forest Reserve is located on the outskirts of Oniparaga, approximately 5 kilometers from the town center. There is no entrance fee for the reserve, but be prepared for possible parking fees depending on the availability of parking spaces.

To reach Uwa Forest Reserve from Owu Forest Reserve using public transportation, first, locate the nearest bus terminal in Owu Forest Reserve. Board a bus heading towards Oniparaga. The ride should take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Oniparaga, ask locals for directions to Uwa Forest Reserve, which is about 5 kilometers away. You can either walk, hire a motorcycle taxi (popularly known as 'okada'), or negotiate a fare with a local taxi. Expect to pay around 200-500 NGN for the motorcycle taxi or taxi service.

If you prefer to walk from Oniparaga to Uwa Forest Reserve, start from the town center and head southeast on the main road. You'll walk for about 5 kilometers, which should take approximately 1 hour. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the path can be uneven in places. Follow any local signs pointing towards the forest reserve.
