If you're traveling by car, start from Enugu city. Head southeast on the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway (A3). After approximately 35 km, take the exit towards Owerre-Ezukala. Continue on this road for about 12 km until you reach Owerre-Ezukala. Follow local signs to the Ogbaukwu cave and waterfall, which is about 5 km from the town center. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition as some roads may be rough.

Public Transportation
To reach Ogbaukwu cave and waterfall via public transport, start by taking a bus from Enugu to Owerre-Ezukala. Buses frequently depart from the Enugu main bus terminal. The fare is usually around 400 NGN. Upon arrival in Owerre-Ezukala, you can either walk or hire a motorcycle taxi (okada) to take you to the cave and waterfall, which is approximately 5 km away. Expect to pay about 200 NGN for the motorcycle ride.

If you prefer to walk from Owerre-Ezukala center to Ogbaukwu cave and waterfall, head northwest from the market square and follow the main road. The walk is roughly 5 km and should take about an hour. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the path can be uneven in places.

Motorcycle Taxi (Okada)
Once in Owerre-Ezukala, you can hire a motorcycle taxi to take you directly to Ogbaukwu cave and waterfall. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around 200 NGN for the 5 km ride. This is a convenient option if you prefer not to walk.
