If you're driving, start from the main town center in Point Hunter. Head northeast on the main road (KAVHA Road) towards the coast. Continue along this road for about 5 kilometers. You will pass by several landmarks, including the Norfolk Island Golf Club on your right. As you approach Headstone Point, look for the signs indicating the parking area. There is a small parking lot available at the point, which is free of charge. After parking, it's a short walk to the observation area.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, check the local bus schedule for routes heading to Headstone Point. Most buses depart from the central bus station in Point Hunter. Depending on the day and time, you may need to transfer buses at the Norfolk Island Central (Bounty Square). After arriving at the nearest bus stop, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to reach the observation area, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

The walk is about 2 kilometers and offers beautiful views of the ocean. Follow the path signs that lead towards Headstone Point. It should take around 30 minutes to walk there.
