If you are driving to Pettigrew State Park, start by heading towards Creswell, NC. From US-64, exit onto NC-94 South towards Creswell. Continue on NC-94 South for about 15 miles until you reach Creswell. Once in Creswell, turn left onto Lake Shore Rd. Follow Lake Shore Rd for approximately 2 miles, and you will find Pettigrew State Park at 2252 Lake Shore Rd, Creswell, NC 27928. There is no entry fee for the park, but ensure you have a valid driver's license and vehicle registration.
Public Transportation
Public transportation options are limited in rural North Carolina. However, you can take a Greyhound bus to nearby towns like Plymouth or Washington, NC. From these towns, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Pettigrew State Park. The distance from Plymouth to the park is about 20 miles, while from Washington it is approximately 25 miles.
