There is a parking area available at the trailhead, and parking is free. Please note that the Parkway can be winding and slow, so allow extra time for your journey.

Unfortunately, public transportation options directly to Crabtree Falls are limited. The closest major city is Asheville, where you can take a Greyhound or Megabus to Marion, NC. From Marion, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach the Crabtree Falls trailhead, located at 39000 Blue Ridge Parkway, Marion, NC 28752. It’s recommended to book your transportation in advance, especially during peak tourist seasons.

Once you arrive at the Crabtree Falls parking area, the trailhead is clearly marked. The hike to the falls is approximately 2 miles round trip.
