Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Boone, head south on West King Street toward South Depot Street. Continue straight for about half a mile until you reach the intersection with Deerfield Road. Turn left onto Deerfield Road. After approximately 0.3 miles, you will arrive at Greenway Trail located at 607 Deerfield Road. Look for the entrance to the trail on your right.

    If you are renting a bike or have your own, start at the Boone Town Hall on East King Street. Head east on East King Street and take a right onto South Depot Street. Follow this road until it merges into Deerfield Road. Continue on Deerfield Road for about 0.5 miles until you see the entrance to Greenway Trail on your left at 607 Deerfield Road.

    Board the AppalCart bus at one of the designated stops in Boone. Take the bus heading towards the A-Line route. Get off at the stop for Deerfield Road.
