Start at the Boone Town Hall bus stop. Board the AppalCART Blue Route bus heading towards the 'Blowing Rock' direction. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes until you reach the 'Newland' stop. From there, exit the bus and walk 0.5 miles southeast along US-221. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Blue Ridge Parkway, then turn left onto Blue Ridge Parkway. The Linn Cove Viaduct will be on your right after about a 10-minute walk.

Bicycle
If you have a bicycle, start from the center of Boone (near the Watauga County Courthouse). Head east on King Street, then turn right onto US-321. Continue on US-321 for about 3 miles until you reach the junction with the Blue Ridge Parkway. Turn left onto the Parkway and follow the signs for Linn Cove Viaduct, which will be roughly 7 miles ahead. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your speed.

If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Boone (near the Boone Mall). Head north on US-321 for about 3 miles until you reach the junction with the Blue Ridge Parkway. At this junction, turn left onto the Parkway. Continue walking along the Parkway for about 2 miles, and you will see signs for the Linn Cove Viaduct. The walk could take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
