Walking
If you're starting in downtown Chapel Hill, head northwest on Franklin Street. Continue straight for about half a mile until you reach the intersection with North Columbia Street. Turn left onto North Columbia Street and walk for about 0.3 miles. When you reach the intersection with Glandon Drive, turn right. Battle Park will be on your left after a short walk.

From downtown Chapel Hill, you can take the Chapel Hill Transit bus (Route J or Route C). Board the bus at one of the stops on Franklin Street. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop closest to Glandon Drive. From there, walk a short distance to the entrance of Battle Park.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing programs. Start from downtown Chapel Hill and head northwest on Franklin Street. Continue to North Columbia Street and take a right. Follow the road until you reach Glandon Drive. Turn right on Glandon Drive, and Battle Park will be on your left. Make sure to check for bike lanes along the route.
