Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving to Fourth Ward Park, start on I-277. Take exit 2B for Graham Street. Merge onto N Graham St and continue for about 0.5 miles. Turn right onto E 7th St, then take a quick left onto N Poplar St. The park will be on your right at 301 N Poplar St. Parking is available on the street or in nearby lots, but be sure to check for parking fees which can vary.

• Public Transportation - Light Rail

  For those using public transport, take the LYNX Blue Line light rail. Board the train at any station heading towards I-485/South Blvd. Get off at the 9th Street station. From there, walk north on N College St for about 0.2 miles, then turn left onto E 7th St and right onto N Poplar St. Fourth Ward Park will be located at 301 N Poplar St. Make sure to have a valid light rail ticket, which costs $2.20 for a one-way trip.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  If you're taking the bus, check the CATS (Charlotte Area Transit System) website for routes that pass near Fourth Ward Park. Routes 11 and 22 serve the area. If you board at a central location like the Charlotte Transportation Center, take Route 11 toward the North Tryon area and get off at the 7th St & College St stop. Walk north on College St, then turn left on E 7th St and right onto N Poplar St. The park is located at 301 N Poplar St. Bus fare is $2.20.
