Getting There

• Light Rail

  If you're near the Uptown area, take the LYNX Blue Line light rail from any station heading south. Get off at the 'East/West Blvd' station. Once you exit the station, walk towards East Blvd, which is about a 5-minute walk. Head south on East Blvd for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach Freedom Park at 1908 East Blvd.

• Bus

  You can catch the CATS bus system. Look for the bus routes that pass through South End or Uptown. For example, take the #11 bus from the Charlotte Transportation Center. Ride it until the 'East Blvd & Kenilworth Ave' stop. From there, it’s a short walk south on East Blvd, and you will reach Freedom Park in about 10 minutes.

• Bicycle

  Charlotte is bike-friendly with many bike lanes. If you have access to a bike, you can ride along the Little Sugar Creek Greenway. Start from the South End area and follow the Greenway north until you reach the park. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes depending on your pace.

• Walking

  If you are within walking distance, simply head south on East Blvd from your location. Keep walking for about 20-30 minutes, depending on your starting point. Follow the signs for Freedom Park, which will be on your right at 1908 East Blvd.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a direct route, you can use a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft). Simply input 'Freedom Park, 1908 East Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28203' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the park.
