Stay on the train for about 10 stops until you reach the 'University City Boulevard' station. Once you arrive, exit the train and head east on University City Boulevard. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Craver Road. Turn left onto Craver Road, and you should see the entrance to the UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens a short distance ahead on your left.

    If you prefer taking the bus, start by locating a nearby CATS bus stop and check the schedule for routes heading towards 'University City'. Look for Bus #11 which provides direct service to the University area. Once on the bus, ask the driver to notify you when you reach the 'Craver Road' stop. Get off at the stop, and walk down Craver Road for approximately 0.2 miles. The entrance to the UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens will be on your right.

Once you reach this main road, walk north until you reach the intersection with Craver Road. This route is perfect for enjoying the local scenery and is approximately 1 mile from the heart of the University area.
