    If you are in Uptown Charlotte, you can take the CATS bus route 11 from the Charlotte Transportation Center. Board the bus at the center and ride for about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop at Kings Drive & 5th Street. From there, walk north on Kings Drive for about 5 minutes until you reach 100 N Kings Dr, which is the Trail of History.

    If you are starting from Independence Park, exit the park and head south on E 7th St. Continue onto N Kings Dr. The Trail of History is located at 100 N Kings Dr, about a 15-minute walk from the park.

  • Public Transit - Light Rail

    From the 7th Street Station on the light rail, board the Blue Line heading towards I-485/South Blvd. Travel for one stop and exit at the East/West Station. From there, transfer to bus route 11 or walk north on Kings Drive for about 10 minutes to reach the Trail of History at 100 N Kings Dr.
