    If you are traveling by car from Foothills, start by getting onto US-64 E. Continue on US-64 E until you reach the intersection with NC-58 S. Take the exit toward Atlantic Beach from US-64 E. Follow NC-58 S for about 10 miles until you reach the town of Atlantic Beach. Once you arrive in Atlantic Beach, turn left onto E Fort Macon Rd. Continue on E Fort Macon Rd for about 2 miles, and Fort Macon State Park will be on your right at 2303 E Fort Macon Rd, Atlantic Beach, NC 28512. There is a parking fee of $5 per vehicle for day use.
