If you are driving from Banner Elk, head southwest on Main St toward NC-194 S. After about 1.5 miles, turn left onto NC-184 S. Continue on NC-184 S for about 2 miles until you reach a right turn onto Vineyard Lane. Follow Vineyard Lane for about half a mile until you arrive at Grandfather Vineyard & Winery located at 225 Vineyard Lane. There is ample parking available at the winery.

To reach Grandfather Vineyard & Winery using public transport, take the AppalCART bus service from the Banner Elk stop. Board the Blue Line, which operates multiple routes in the area. Ride for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the closest stop to the winery, which is near the intersection of NC-184 and Vineyard Lane. From there, it's a short walk of about 0.3 miles along Vineyard Lane to reach the winery. Please check the local bus schedule for exact timings.
