    From the center of Hendersonville, walk to the nearest bus stop along Main Street. Take the bus that heads to Nashville. Make sure to check the schedule in advance; buses typically run every 30 minutes. After approximately a 30-minute ride, get off at the Nashville downtown bus terminal. From there, transfer to the bus route towards the Radnor Lake State Park. It's a short ride of about 20 minutes. The bus will drop you off at the closest stop to the park entrance. From the bus stop, it's a 0.5-mile walk down Otter Creek Road to reach Radnor Lake State Park.

  • Bicycle Rental

    If you're up for an adventure, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Hendersonville. Start your ride heading south on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Highway 64. Turn right onto Highway 64, which will lead you toward Nashville. Continue along the highway for about 10 miles. Once you reach the Otter Creek Road exit, take a left and ride down Otter Creek Road until you see the entrance to Radnor Lake State Park. The entire journey will take approximately an hour, depending on your cycling speed.

    If you prefer to walk, you can begin at the Hendersonville City Hall located at 105 Main St. Walk south on Main Street until you reach Highway 64. Cross the highway and continue straight, following the signs toward Nashville. After about a 3-mile walk, you will come to the intersection with Otter Creek Road. Turn left onto Otter Creek Road, and continue walking for another 2 miles. Radnor Lake State Park will be on your right. Be prepared for a long walk, approximately 2 hours, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
