From the Hickory City Park, exit the park heading west on 1st Ave NW. Turn left onto 2nd St NW and continue for about 0.5 miles. Take a right onto N Center St. Continue for another 0.2 miles and you will find the Harper House/Hickory History Center on your left at 310 N Center St. The total distance is approximately 1.2 miles, which should take about 10 minutes.

If you are near the Hickory Transit Station, board the Route 1 bus heading towards Lenoir. Get off at the stop on 2nd St NE at Main Ave NE.
