If you are traveling by car, start by heading to NC-64 E from your location in the Inner Banks. Continue on NC-64 E for about 20 miles until you reach Manteo. Once in Manteo, look for signs directing you to Festival Park. Turn left onto US-64 Business S/Queen Elizabeth Avenue and continue straight for approximately 1.5 miles. You will see the entrance to Roanoke Island Festival Park on your left at 1 Festival Park, Manteo, NC 27954. There is free parking available at the site.

You may need to transfer buses depending on your starting location, but most routes will lead you towards Manteo. The closest bus stop to Roanoke Island Festival Park is on US-64 Business S, which is about a 10-minute walk from the park entrance. Once you arrive at the bus stop, walk south on Queen Elizabeth Avenue until you reach the festival park entrance.
