Car
To reach Biltmore in Asheville, NC, from anywhere in the Mountain Region, take US-19 or US-23 towards Asheville. If you are starting from Boone, NC, take NC-105 S to US-221 S, then merge onto I-40 W towards Asheville. After about 80 miles, take exit 50 for I-240 E towards Asheville. Continue on I-240 E and take exit 5 for US-25 S / US-70 E. Follow signs for Biltmore Estate. The entrance will be on your left. Expect to pay a parking fee of approximately $10.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus to Asheville. Once you arrive at the Asheville bus station, you will need to take an Uber or Lyft to Biltmore, which is about 3 miles away. Ride-sharing costs can vary but expect to pay around $10-$15. Biltmore does not have direct public transit access, so ride-sharing is the most convenient option.
Shuttle Service
Several local hotels in Asheville offer shuttle services to the Biltmore Estate. Check with your hotel in advance to see if this service is available. If it is, it typically runs on a schedule and may be complimentary for guests. This is a great option if you prefer not to drive or navigate public transport.
