If you are starting from the New Bern Riverwalk, head towards the East on the riverfront path until you reach the intersection with Middle Street. Continue walking straight onto Middle Street for about half a mile, passing several shops and restaurants. Keep an eye out for the Bear Plaza sign on your left at 236 Middle St, which is located near other attractions. The plaza is a well-known spot in the area.
