Union Point Park: A Tranquil Oasis in New Bern

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the downtown area of New Bern, make your way to the intersection of Pollock Street and East Front Street. Head east on East Front Street. Continue walking straight for about 0.3 miles, and you will see Union Point Park on your left at 210 E Front St. The park is located near the confluence of the Neuse and Trent Rivers, providing beautiful waterfront views.

• Biking

  For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local vendors in downtown New Bern. Start at the corner of Middle Street and East Front Street and head east along East Front Street. You will bike about 0.3 miles until you reach Union Point Park on your left at 210 E Front St. Make sure to use the bike lane where available and follow all traffic signals.

  While New Bern does not have extensive public transit, you can check if any local shuttle services are available that might drop you off near Union Point Park. If you are near the New Bern Riverfront Convention Center, it is just a short walk east along East Front Street to reach the park, located at 210 E Front St.
