Car
If you are driving from Piedmont, NC, head east on I-85 toward Charlotte. Take the exit for I-77 N toward Statesville. Merge onto I-26 W toward Asheville. Continue on I-26 W until you reach exit 37 for US-25 N/US-70 W toward Asheville. Follow US-25 N for about 5 miles, and then take a left onto Biltmore Estate Drive, which will lead you directly to the entrance of Biltmore. Note that parking at Biltmore is available, but there may be a fee of around $25.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Piedmont to Asheville. Greyhound and other bus services operate routes to Asheville. Once in Asheville, you will need to take a local taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to Biltmore, as public transportation options directly to Biltmore are limited. Expect to pay approximately $10-15 for the rideshare from downtown Asheville to the estate.
