Getting There

    From North Hills, head to the nearest bus stop at the North Hills Shopping Center. Board the GoRaleigh bus route 4 heading towards the 'Raleigh Boulevard' and ask the driver for the nearest stop to Durant Nature Preserve. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of Camp Durant Rd and Falls of Neuse Rd. From there, walk approximately 0.5 miles south on Camp Durant Rd to reach the entrance of Durant Nature Preserve.

    If you're renting a bicycle, start from the North Hills Shopping Center and head northeast towards the intersection of Six Forks Rd and Strickland Rd. Take a right onto Strickland Rd. After about 1 mile, turn left onto Camp Durant Rd. Continue straight for about 1.5 miles until you reach the entrance of Durant Nature Preserve.
