    If you are in downtown Winston-Salem, start at the corner of 4th Street and Main Street. Head west on 4th Street until you reach the intersection with Broad Street. Turn left onto Broad Street and continue walking until you reach the bus stop for the Winston-Salem Transit Authority. From there, take the #30 bus towards Old Salem. The bus will take you directly to Old Salem Museums & Gardens, which is located at 900 Old Salem Rd. The ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive, you will be at the entrance of the museums and gardens.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    For visitors starting from the Winston-Salem State University area, walk to the nearest bus stop at the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and 25th Street. Board the #30 bus towards Old Salem. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Old Salem stop, which is very close to the entrance at 900 Old Salem Rd.
