Walking
If you are starting from the Winston-Salem Visitor Center located at 200 Brookstown Ave, walk south on Brookstown Ave toward W 4th St. Turn right onto W 4th St and continue until you reach S Main St. Turn left onto S Main St, and continue walking until you arrive at 600 S Main St, the Old Salem Museums & Gardens Administrative Offices. This walk is approximately 0.7 miles and should take about 15 minutes.

Public Transit
From the Winston-Salem State University, take the Route 100 bus towards the downtown area. Get off at the stop near the intersection of S Main St and W 6th St. From there, walk south on S Main St for about 3 blocks until you reach 600 S Main St, the Old Salem Museums & Gardens Administrative Offices. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes, and walking from the bus stop will take another 5 minutes.

Bicycle
If you are renting a bike, start at the Winston-Salem State University campus. Head south on Martin Luther King Jr Dr, then turn left onto W 4th St and continue until you reach S Main St. Turn left onto S Main St and bike down for about 1.2 miles until you reach 600 S Main St, the Old Salem Museums & Gardens Administrative Offices. This route should take around 10-15 minutes depending on your cycling speed.
