If you're driving, start from the center of Badlands National Park. Head east on SD-240 to reach I-90. Take the exit for I-90 towards Rapid City. Continue on I-90 for approximately 30 miles. Take exit 61 toward Nemo/Black Hills. Turn right onto Nemo Road and follow it for about 5 miles until you reach Alpine Road. Turn left onto Alpine Road, and Wonderland Cave will be on your right at 12634 Alpine Rd, Nemo, SD 57759. There are no fees for parking at the cave entrance.

Unfortunately, public transportation options are limited in this area. However, you can take a bus from Badlands to Rapid City. From Rapid City, you would need to hire a taxi or use a rideshare service to get to Wonderland Cave, which is approximately a 30-minute drive from Rapid City. Expect to pay around $50 for a taxi from Rapid City to Wonderland Cave, depending on traffic and the service you choose.
