    From the Dickinson city center, start at the intersection of 2nd St W and Villard St. Head south on 2nd St W for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 1st Ave W. Turn left onto 1st Ave W and walk for about 0.3 miles. Continue straight as the road becomes 3rd St W. After approximately 0.5 miles, you'll arrive at the intersection with 14th Ave SW. Turn right onto 14th Ave SW and walk for another 1 mile. You will see signs for Patterson Lake Recreation Area as you approach the intersection with 114th Ave SW. Turn left onto 114th Ave SW and walk for about 0.5 miles, and the entrance to Patterson Lake Recreation Area will be on your left.

    Start from the Dickinson city center at the intersection of 2nd St W and Villard St. Head south on 2nd St W for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto 1st Ave W. Continue straight for 0.3 miles, then turn right onto 3rd St W. Follow 3rd St W for about 0.5 miles until you reach 14th Ave SW. Turn right and bike along 14th Ave SW for approximately 1 mile.
