Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Dickinson Museum Center located at 188 Museum Dr E, Dickinson, ND 58601. From the museum, exit onto Museum Drive and head east. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with 2nd Ave E. Turn left onto 2nd Ave E and continue walking north. After a few blocks, you will see Prairie Outpost Park on your right. The park is easily accessible from the sidewalk.

    If you have a bicycle, start at the Dickinson Museum Center at 188 Museum Dr E. Exit the museum and turn right onto Museum Drive. Proceed east and then take a left onto 2nd Ave E. Continue north on 2nd Ave E for about half a mile. Prairie Outpost Park will be on your right-hand side. There are bike racks available at the park for parking.
