From Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park, exit the park and head west on Fort Lincoln Rd towards Mandan. Continue on Fort Lincoln Rd for approximately 4 miles until you reach the intersection with Old Red Trail (US-10). Turn left onto Old Red Trail and follow it for about 2 miles. Once you reach the intersection with 31st Ave NW, turn right. After about half a mile, turn left onto 37th St NW. The North Dakota State Railroad Museum will be on your right at 3102 37th St NW. There is no entry fee for the parking area.
