If you're traveling by car from any point in Lake Sakakawea, head east on ND-200 E. Continue on ND-200 for approximately 15 miles. You will then reach the junction with ND-31 N. Turn left onto ND-31 N and drive for about 7 miles. You will see signs for Fort Clark State Historic Site as you approach Stanton, ND. The historic site is located at Stanton, ND 58571, right off ND-31.
