If you are traveling by car from any location in the Red River Valley, take I-94 W towards Bismarck. Once you reach Bismarck, continue on I-94 W for approximately 50 miles. Take exit 185 for ND-200 E towards Stanton. Merge onto ND-200 E and continue for about 10 miles. You will reach Stanton, ND. From Stanton, follow the signs to Fort Clark State Historic Site, which is located just outside of the town. The site is approximately 5 miles from Stanton, and you will see signs leading you to the entrance.
