Car
If you are in Sheyenne National Grassland, start by heading south on ND-1 S for approximately 5 miles. Turn east onto County Road 10 and continue for about 3 miles. You will then reach the intersection with County Road 23. Turn north onto County Road 23 and drive for another 2 miles. The Bachman Waterfowl Production Area will be on your left. Look for the sign indicating the area.

From there, it is advisable to rent a car or use a rideshare service to reach Bachman Waterfowl Production Area. If you take the bus to Lisbon, you can follow the same directions as if you were driving from Sheyenne National Grassland: head south on ND-1 S, turn east onto County Road 10, and follow the remaining directions as previously noted.
